Interview with Indie Spotlight

This book started off as a column Ron was writing for STAGE Magazine. He would do a weekly 'Acting Tip of the Day' that was focused on the business aspects of being an actor. The feedback he got from his column was great and people kept asking for  more tips. So, he sat down with fellow entertainment professionals and asked them what they felt actors didn't know about the business side of show biz. This book is a direct result of those conversations.



There are too  many actors who don't truly understand that being an actor is like running a business. This book simplifies some of the questions one may have about casting directors and talent agents, headshots, resumes, websites, demo reels, technology and several other topics. Truthfully, this book could have easily been '1001 Business Tips for Actors,' but that would've taken too long to write. 



The book was published in 2012 by Wheelman  Press. It is now being self published by the author, Ron Bush.
