ABOUT

Known for his roles in 'Pam and Tommy,' 'Monster: The Jeffery Dahmer Story,' 'Too Close To Home,' 'St. Vincent,' and 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia,' Ron got his start in acting, while attending Georgia Tech. His first foray into acting was in 2002 as a background actor in "Sweet Home Alabama." (Thank you Chris Prossick for dragging him to that open call!) He played the cashier in the Deep South Glass shop and was on set for four days. It was here where he learned to love being on set and wanted to be an actor (getting to talk with Patrick Dempsey, Josh Lucas and Rhona Mitra also didn't hurt). However, life happened and he had to finish college and enter the 'real' world. So, in 2004 he graduated from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Management and three years later, received a MBA from Georgia State University. Over the years, he continued to work as a background actor whenever he could, while still working a 9-5 job in various industries including information technology, sales, marketing and customer service. It wasn't until his job at the Smithsonian Institute, where he realized that he would only be truly happy as an actor. So, in 2009 he left the Smithsonian to become a full-time actor. Luckily, his parents were very supportive of his decision to completely shift careers.

Since becoming a full-time actor, Ron has had speaking roles in more than 60 independent movies ('St. Vincent'), TV shows (Recurring Guest Star on 'Too Close To Home,' co-stars on 'Bloodline,' 'Louie' and 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia'), short films, commercials and industrials. He got his first real training in Baltimore with Robert Christie, where he learned the art of acting through Improv and the Meisner Technique. After a couple years in Baltimore, he was ready for the next step, so he moved to the great city of New York. After moving to NY, Ron continued to work in several Hollywood movies, independent films and student films, as well as many local commercials and commercial print modeling. He has also expanded his training by joining the Improv program at the Upright Citizens Brigade, scene study classes with Tom Todoroff and Ann Dowd and private vocal lessons with Wendy Russel.

In 2015, Ron moved once again to Atlanta where he booked a Recurring Guest Star on 'Too Close to Home,' a co-star on 'Bloodline' a recurring role on the webseries 'the_developers,' which was filmed in Los Angeles and a Guest Star in the webseries 'Skin Deep.' He also studied the Strasberg method with local acting coach Kristen Shaw. The next stop on his journey was Los Angeles, but he still held onto his apartment in Atlanta so he can be bi-coastal.

In Los Angeles, he's worked on 'Pam and Tommy' on Hulu, 'Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' on Netflix and several independent films. In 2021, he signed with The Library Agency and is also represented by CSP Management. In continuing his development as an actor, he has been taking scene study and on camera classes with Shari Shaw at Shari Shaw Studios.

Besides acting, Ron also serves as a marketing coach for actors, and he is a published author. His book, 101 Business Tips for Actors was written and published in 2015.

What will happen in the future is anyone's guess. All Ron knows is that no matter what, acting is now his life. No more desk jobs for him. He may still be doing local commercials when he is 50, but at least he'll be happy.

However, he's pretty sure that you'll soon see his face gracing many movie posters!
